12 LED Accent Light

This is a wonderful little 12 LED Accent Light project to use wherever you like.
Under the cupboards to light up your counter top space or on your desk to light up your work space and save on electricity at the same time.
I noticed that Amazon has ideal perf boards on their website. You could load 12 LED’s onto one, hard wire the circuit and place it in some kind of enclosure. Just click on the ad to the right. >>>

All Resistors are 1/2 Watt. Any standard LEDs will do. I recommend using the Super Bright White LEDs in the parts list below for more light. This circuit is drawn using an AC to DC Power Supply incorporating a transformer and bridge rectifier.

As an alternative, since most wall transformers, (Wall-warts) are 120VAC to 12VDC, you can eliminate everything to the left of the LEDs and just wire it straight across with the plus side going to the resistors and the minus side going to the cathode of the diodes, (ie: ground).
